Active Designated Funds

Resident Support Fund — Founded in 2017 by generous BMC alumni and the Adirondack Foundation, this fund provides financial support to accepted applicants of color who require additional resources to participate in BMC's residency program. Donate via Blue Mountain Center’s Paypal (see button below) and select “Resident Support Fund” in the drop down menu.

Richard J. Margolis Award - Blue Mountain Center partners with the Richard J. Margolis Award, given annually to a promising new journalist or essayist whose nonfiction work combines warmth, humor and wisdom and sheds light on issues of social justice. You may make a gift via PayPal to Blue Mountain Center and designate it for the Margolis Award by selecting “Richard J. Margolis Award” in the drop-down menu.

Blue Mountain Center is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Your contributions enable us to continue to provide progressive writers, artists, and activists — free of charge — a peaceful and comfortable environment in which they can focus and relax, free from the distractions and demands of normal daily life. Donations to BMC are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
